ARTIST BIOGRAPHY.

Michael Arizmendi is a 22-year-old Austin-based artist from Brownsville, TX whose musical vision transcends traditional genre boundaries, blending hip-hop, jazz-fusion, and funk into a uniquely compelling sound. He draws inspiration from an eclectic spectrum of influences. His approach to composition reflects this diverse musical palette, weaving complex chord progressions and bebop-influenced improvisation with contemporary hip-hop flows and introspective lyricism.

From playing the trumpet, bass, and singing, to writing his songs and rapping, Michael uses his art to spark change, inspire connection, and speak honestly about the world in and around us. 

A Berklee College of Music graduate, Arizmendi gigs, teaches, and records in and out of the city. His newest single, “So High (To Get Away)” is OUT NOW on ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS! Arizmendi has established himself as an artist committed to pushing creative boundaries while maintaining raw emotional authenticity.
